Brew Club Member Beer Release Tasting – Basic Witch

We are hosting a Brew Club Member Tasting on Thursday, October 14 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Members can come in and get a complimentary 5oz tasting of the Basic Witch, and a pumpkin treat in the Draft Room, and meet with Brewster, Shay. We hope to see you there! This beer will be on tap for everyone starting on Friday.

Up until the 1500s, it was common place for brewers to be female.  They wore pointy hats to identify themselves in the marketplace and were seen carrying cauldrons of their freshest brew.  These brewsters (female brewer) were accused of witchcraft and as a result, men took over the industry.   This beer has been created in their honor by our very own brewster. This robust stout has notes of pumpkin spice, vanilla, and brown sugar.  It was then infused with cold brew coffee giving it dark chocolate notes and a smooth body.  This small batch won’t be around for long!
